Camp Marannook
You are here: Home / Family Camp

You Need a Break!
At Marannook’s family camp, you and your children can relax for a weekend and concentrate on what’s really important—spending some time with each other and spending time with God. You’ll sleep in a cabin in the woods, eat great meals, and try many fun camp activities. You will also learn more about worshipping God together as a family through songs, skits and sharing.

Special Times for Mom and Dad
On Saturday, counselors lead the children through activities while parents meet together to discuss the challenges and opportunities they face as parents. They’ll get tips on conducting family worship and later have time alone to discuss ideas over an exquisite candlelight dinner! Your children will be enjoying hot dogs and s’mores at a bon fire with the counselors during your formal dinner together.

A Staff to Serve You
By all means, bring babies or small children with you to family camp! Our counselors are here to serve—and that means taking plates to your table, cleaning up spills, playing with toddlers…you name it. We want to help your family relax and enjoy each other. At the same time, the college aged counselors are able to learn from your family about the essentials glorifying God through family worship and love.

What to Bring…
Bring pillows, bed linens or sleeping bags, towels, washcloths, and casual clothes. You may want to bring rain gear and an extra pair of shoes. Also, pack a sweater or jacket—mornings and evenings can get chilly! For cabin devotions, bring your favorite books, or plan to use our library stocked with resources for all ages. And don’t forget your Bibles!
